Nuremberg – More than 500 exhibitors from 43 countries took part in interlift 2025 and achieved good business results. Some have already registered during the current trade fair for the next edition of interlift, which will take place at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre in 2027. The interlift range was presented in six halls at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, covering around 50,000 square metres. The site offers opportunities for further growth.

Visitors to interlift were very international: over 25,000 visitors from more than 100 countries came to Nuremberg for interlift. The largest group of visitors came from Germany, followed by Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Great Britain, China and Turkey.
In the visitor survey, over 90 percent said they were satisfied with their visit to interlift 2025, and over 90 percent of visitors were satisfied with what the exhibitors had to offer and would recommend interlift to others. In addition to the offerings of over 500 exhibitors, the technical lecture programme in the VFA-Forum also contributed to the quality of the trade fair and offered visitors numerous opportunities for knowledge transfer and further training.

68 per cent of visitors (2023: 55 per cent) stated in the survey that they only visit interlift and no other trade fair with a similar theme in order to find out about the latest developments in the lift sector. For companies wishing to promote their products to an international market, participating in interlift is therefore a unique opportunity. Despite the current weakness of the European market, it was also important for Asian exhibitors, such as those from China, to be here, as interlift enabled them to meet not only the European market but also numerous international customers and partners.
The large number of visitors and the high quality of trade visitors ensured successful business for exhibitors at interlift 2025. In the exhibitor survey, around 90 percent of exhibitors gave their participation good marks overall, and expectations for post-fair business are high. Eighty percent of exhibitors rated the business results of the trade fair as ‘very good’, “good” or ‘satisfactory’.

Achim Hütter, Chairman of the Board at VFA-Interlift, is also very satisfied with interlift 2025 and believes that the trade fair has found its home in Nuremberg: "The infrastructure in Nuremberg is so much better. The lift industry is a medium-sized industry, and I think that fits very well with the city of Nuremberg. It's big, but not too big. We have many more opportunities here – especially in the hotel and restaurant industry. And the exhibition centre itself also offers us further growth opportunities.“

“The VFA-Forum interlift and the lecture programme were very well received by visitors. During the event, we welcomed around 2,000 listeners to the VFA-Forum interlift. The diversity of the programme and the selection of topics were praised, confirming our choice of focus topics. Lectures on regulations and standards, which are particularly relevant to the everyday work of visitors, as well as lectures on markets and product innovations, were particularly well attended. At peak times, over 120 participants attended a lecture. Exhibitors also took advantage of the opportunity to present their product innovations to an interested specialist audience. Today, it is more of an opportunity to see customers, as you can meet several hundred customers in just a few days.
