Current industry trends that were the focus of interlift 2025 included topics such as cyber security, energy efficiency, sustainability, digitalisation and innovations in the field of home lifts. Exhibitors at interlift presented numerous offerings related to current industry trends in Nuremberg. Under the title ‘Elevating Robotics’, interlift hosted its first presentation on automated logistics for vertically distributed production environments – inspired by RoboCup@Work. The robOTTO team from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, together with EduArt Robotik and Schmitt+Sohn Aufzüge, presented mobile robot systems for industrial use at interlift. Robotic assistants are already taking on physically demanding tasks in manufacturing and are an integral part of modern production and logistics processes. robOTTO and EduArt presented robot models that were originally developed for international RoboCup competitions. In the future, these systems are to be used on several levels and will also be able to interact with lift systems.
