High-calibre specialist presentations at interlift: the programme at the VFA-Forum
The VFA-Forum is interlift's communication platform: in over 40 specialist presentations, experts will shed light on current topics such as standardisation, digitalisation, sustainability, securing skilled workers, market trends and technical developments. The VFA-Forum will accompany interlift on all days of the trade fair, from 14 to 17 October at Messe Nürnberg.
Nuremberg – The VFA-Forum offers high-quality presentations on all days of the interlift trade fair and is organised by VFA-Interlift, the professional sponsor of interlift. The central theme of the forum in 2025 will continue to be digitalisation: from artificial intelligence and cyber security to smart services, the programme offers a wide range of perspectives on digital innovations. Other focal points include new products, sustainable modernisation, international standards and regulatory requirements. Internationally renowned speakers such as Esfandiar Gharibaan and Daniel Bisang have been secured for the presentations.
With market analyses from South America, Africa, India and the Middle East, the forum broadens its perspective beyond national borders and provides a well-founded overview of global developments.
A special highlight is the SME Special on the first day of the forum (Tuesday, 14 October), which focuses on topics of interest to small and medium-sized enterprises, including sustainable modernisation concepts, innovative design recommendations, future-proof rope technologies and new approaches to the lift experience.
The programme is supplemented by contributions on standards and safety – with a focus on the upcoming changes brought about by ISO 8100-1/2 and the new Machinery Directive.
During the four days of the trade fair, forum visitors can attend a wide variety of themed presentations in the forum free of charge. The presentations will be held in English or German, with simultaneous translations into German or English.
