General conditions for the leading platform of the lift industry significantly improved

Change in hall structure about to be finalised

Augsburg - There is anticipation for the first "normal" interlift after the pandemic. The general conditions next year will hardly differ from the time before Corona. The travel restrictions are largely a thing of the past, and even in Asia one expects to be present in Augsburg again as in 2019 with numerous exhibitors and comprehensive joint presentations.

The first joint visit to the NAEC Convention in Louisville last September by interlift organiser AFAG, the VFA-Interlift e.V. and the European manufacturers' association EFESME could also bear fruit. At a meeting between EFESME President Massimo Bezzi, VFA Board Member Dr Stephan Rohr and interlift Project Manager Joachim Kalsdorf with NAEC Vice President John Tolar and his team, the idea of a joint presentation by US companies at the interlift 2023 was outlined for the first time. The desire for a more intensive exchange and sustainable cooperation was also confirmed on this occasion.

Due to current regulations of the local authorities with regard to escape routes and fire protection, a new layout, which affects almost all exhibitors, has become necessary.

The first reorganisation was carried out in August and September and the reaction of the vast majority of exhibitors was positive throughout! The new structure has made it possible for a whole series of companies to obtain stand positions they had wanted for a long time. Pragmatic solutions are also currently being worked on for those companies that still see a need to optimise their current position.

The bottom line is that the interlift 2023 will once again be the attractive platform for both the participating companies and the visitors from all over the world, presenting the innovations of the leading suppliers and facilitating the exchange within the industry in the usual familiar atmosphere.
